90 Day Return Policy / Warranty
Our number one goal is to make you a happy, return customer!
To return an item, please email us at email@example.com to secure a Return Authorization (RMA) number.
All RMA requests must be made within 90 days post item delivery.
Returns made within 30 days, post item delivery, can receive a refund to their original form of payment.
Before a credit is issued, the item must be returned and received by us.
We do not refund shipping costs, or refund the cost of your return shipping.
If your item is received in brand new working condition and has not been used, we will refund 100% of your item cost.
My item was damaged by the shipping carrier, how do I get it replaced?
All shipping damage and breakage must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt, as claims must be made with the shipping carrier. We will act on your behalf with the carrier to expedite your claim, and will ship you a replacement product. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to report any merchandise damaged by a shipping carrier.
I received a defective item, how do I get it replaced?
We stand behind each and every product. In the unlikely event that you receive a defective item, please contact us to request a replacement. All replacement requests must be made by emailing us at email@example.com to secure a Return Authorization number (RMA). A replacement product cannot be issued until the defective item is returned and received by us. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the defective item.
I received a defective item that I no longer want, how do I return it for a refund?
If you receive a defective item that you want to return and not have us replace, we will refund you 100% of your item cost. All defective item returns for credit must be made by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org to secure a Return Authorization number (RMA). Your return credit cannot be issued until the defective item is returned and received by us. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the defective item.
Life Defense Technologies, Ltd. offers a limited warranty on all products.
Some products have manufacturer’s warranties that are much longer. Products with expiration dates, like pepper spray, have a warranty that is governed by the expiration date.
Unless otherwise specified on our product details page, Life Defense Technologies, Ltd. will repair its products with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge, in the U.S.A. for 90 days from the date of original purchase in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. The product must be shipped back to Life Defense Technologies, Ltd. for repair in its original packing. Shipping charges for all returns are at the expense of the customer. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty performance is rendered. We email all customers an invoice with their order, and this is sufficient documentation to submit to us for warranty repair coverage.
This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, which occur during normal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in shipment (covered separately), or failures which are caused by products not supplied by Life Defense Technologies, Ltd., or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, commercial use of the product, or service by anyone other than Life Defense Technologies, Ltd., or damage that is attributable to acts of God.
Limits and Exclusions
There are no express warranties except as listed above.
LIFE DEFENSE TECHNOLOGIES, LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

All returned items must be in their original packaging, and include all components in good working order. Products not meeting these terms are subject to no, or a reduced refund.
